Kilwex Awarded Dublin Airport T1 Taxi Rank & Entrance Lobbies Project 🚖✈️
We’re delighted to announce that Kilwex has been awarded the T1 Taxi Rank & Entrance Lobbies project at Dublin Airport, part of daa’s Capital Investment Programme.
This project will significantly enhance accessibility, passenger experience, and sustainability at one of Ireland’s busiest transport hubs.
🔨 Scope of Works includes:
- Construction of a new enclosed taxi rank canopy, featuring a living roof to improve biodiversity and manage rainwater, while providing passengers with a new improved sheltered waiting area
- Installation of digital signage to enhance wayfinding and provide real-time passenger information.
- Civil and structural works to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility, including enhanced walkways and waiting areas.
- Integration of energy-efficient systems and sustainable materials in line with daa’s environmental standards.

- Living roof technology, supporting biodiversity, improving stormwater management, and reducing the urban heat effect.
