Kilwex are proud to have recently been awarded a Clean Air Site Campaign Flag at our Dublin Port – Liffey to Tolka Project.
The Clean Air Site Campaign is an industry initiative from the Construction Workers Health Trust (CWHT), aimed at reducing exposure to dust and contaminated air on construction sites, with a particular focus on the risks associated with Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) dust.
The flag recognises our commitment to implementing effective dust-reduction measures and promoting greater awareness of occupational health risks on site.
As part of the campaign, our team demonstrated a range of control measures, including:
🔹 Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) face-fit training and testing
🔹 The use of on-tool extraction and water suppression
🔹 Ensuring workers understand the hazards associated with silica dust and the control measures required to work safely
This recognition reflects the continued commitment of our project teams to protecting the health and wellbeing of everyone working on our sites and maintaining high standards of occupational health and safety.
