Kilwex Ltd is proud to have successfully completed the Terminal 1 Taxi Rank & Entrance Lobbies project at Dublin Airport, delivered on behalf of daa as part of its ongoing infrastructure investment programme.
The project involved the comprehensive upgrade and reconfiguration of the existing taxi rank, creating a more accessible, efficient and welcoming environment for passengers arriving at Dublin Airport.
Works included the construction of a new enclosed passenger waiting area, upgraded pedestrian walkways and paved areas, improved accessibility, a reconfigured dual-lane taxi system, new drainage infrastructure and enhanced digital wayfinding signage.
One of the project’s key challenges was delivering these improvements within a busy, fully operational airport environment. Through careful planning, phased construction and close coordination with daa, Kilwex successfully maintained essential passenger and vehicle access throughout the works.
