Over the past two weeks, Kilwex Ltd has been actively supporting the CIF Safety Campaign 2026, reinforcing the importance of getting the basics right and maintaining a strong safety culture across all our projects.
Throughout the campaign, our teams participated in a range of practical safety and wellbeing initiatives, including:
🔹 Mental Health & Wellbeing – A site standdown and wellbeing talk delivered by the Lighthouse Charity’s Make It Visible team, highlighting the importance of positive mental health and the support available to construction workers.
🔹 Respiratory Protection – RPE awareness training and face-fit testing delivered by Fittest Ireland, reinforcing the importance of correct respiratory protection.
🔹 Plant & Pedestrian Safety – Interactive Red Zone demonstrations focusing on plant blind spots, safe zones and effective communication between operators and site personnel.
🔹 Lifesaving Skills – Hands for Life training, providing staff with essential CPR and AED awareness and practical skills.
🔹 Machinery Safety – Plant inspection demonstrations delivered by Tru-Cert, highlighting the importance of thorough inspections and identifying potential hazards.
These initiatives took place across our Dublin Port, Dublin Airport, Ballymastone and Adamstown projects, bringing our teams together to share knowledge, strengthen awareness and reinforce safe working practices.
At Kilwex, safety isn’t just a campaign — it’s a commitment we carry through every day.
A special thank you to our SHEQ team, external training providers and everyone who participated and helped make the campaign a success.
